Christmas is our busiest season of the year, and we intentionally accept only a limited number of families.

Reservations open months in advance because our sessions fill quickly, and booking early gives you the best selection of dates while ensuring your portraits and keepsake products are ready to enjoy throughout the holiday season.

Once your session is reserved, you'll receive our Christmas Preparation Guide with everything you need to prepare including styling tips, wardrobe information, and helpful recommendations to make your experience stress-free.

Booking your Christmas session is quick and easy! Click Reserve Your Christmas Experience, choose your collection, select your preferred date, and complete the required retainer payment. The retainer amount will automatically be shown based on the collection you select.

Once your reservation is complete, you'll automatically receive your confirmation email, session agreement, invoice, and our Christmas Preparation Guide with everything you need for your upcoming session.

Children don't need to sit perfectly still or smile the entire session. Every Christmas experience is relaxed, patient, and fully guided. We have years of experience working with children, and our goal is to create a fun, stress-free experience while capturing genuine moments.

After booking, you'll receive our Christmas Preparation Guide with styling recommendations for the entire family, along with complimentary access to our GR Luxury Client Wardrobe.

Our wardrobe includes a carefully curated selection of gowns for women and young girls, as well as a limited selection of pieces for men and boys. If you prefer, you're always welcome to wear your own outfits instead. Wardrobe access is simply an added benefit for our clients, and your collection price remains the same whether you choose to use it or not.

Each collection includes your immediate family (up to 6 people). Grandparents and extended family members are welcome to join your session for an additional fee per person.

Our 2026 Christmas sets are currently being thoughtfully handcrafted in our studio. The inspiration images shown on this page represent the overall vision, style, and atmosphere we're creating for this year's collection.

While the finished sets may not be identical in every detail, they will be uniquely designed by GR Photography to reflect the same timeless elegance, warmth, and luxury shown in the inspiration images.



Your proof gallery will be delivered within 7 days of your session. Once you've selected your favorite portraits, we'll professionally retouch your images and prepare any keepsake products included with your collection.

After viewing your proof gallery, you'll have the opportunity to purchase additional hand-retouched images, fine art prints, albums, and keepsake products if you'd like to expand your collection.

Yes! Every collection includes your choice of either Midnight Christmas or Christmas at The Chestnut House.

You'll simply choose your favorite set when completing your session questionnaire before your appointment.

You don't need any experience in front of the camera.
